Check out our Alumni Video of the Month:

February 2019

This month’s video features the ensemble Conduit, comprised of alums Zach Manzi (BM ’15, clarinet) and Evan Saddler (MM ’18, percussion). About the film, they write:

Comfort Patterns explores the eeriness looming behind obsessive behaviors that digital technology elicits from human beings. The composer, Anna Meadors, indicates “with a quiet paranoia, obsessive” in the score, which is brought to life by repeated fragments that mutate throughout the piece. Current Juilliard dance student Taylor Massa’s choreography and presence in the ensemble augments the musical concept by bringing a visceral element to the obsessiveness. Comfort Patterns was produced and directed by Four/Ten Media, comprised of filmmakers Evan Chapman and Kevin Eikenberg.”
